ROSIE VISITS MOBILE CANCER INFORMATION CENTRE
Rosie Winterton, MP for Doncaster Central and Minister of State for Health, will be showing her support once again for Macmillan Cancer Support by visiting the Macmillan Mobile Cancer Information Centre on Monday 10 July at 9.30 am when it is in Doncaster.
Rosie says:
“I have supported Macmillan Cancer Support for many years. I am delighted to have this opportunity to visit Macmillan’s Mobile Cancer Information Centre while it is in Doncaster. Macmillan Cancer Support do very good work helping to signpost the services and support that is available from the NHS and other agencies for people who suffer from cancer, their friends and relatives. I would encourage anyone who feels that they need information or advice to call in.”
The Macmillan Mobile Cancer Information Centre is visiting 47 locations around the UK throughout the year. Anyone with questions or concerns about any aspect of cancer can call in the Centre to have a confidential chat with an Information Specialist or pick up some leaflets.
Anyone who is unable to visit the centre, but would like to talk to someone about any aspect of cancer can call the Macmillan CancerLine on Freephone 0808 808 2020. The line is open Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm.
