Peter Hain is the Member of Parliament representing the people of the Neath constituency in West Glamorgan, South Wales.
He became Neath's MP in April 1991.
Prior to devolution he was a minister in the Welsh Office, and now serves as the Welsh Secretary and Leader of the House of Commons.
He lives in the village of Resolven in the Neath Valley.
