The Campaign for Drawing’s aim is to get everyone drawing. Its annual showpiece, The Big Draw, proves that drawing can be a public activity as well as a private passion.
Nick Harvey MP says:
We are all looking forward to the completion of the revamped town square in Barnstaple.
I think the Museum and Albert clock will now become the defining image of Barnstaple and a welcome focal point for public events. Its first community event has already been scheduled.
I am delighted that the new square is to host a national Campaign for Drawing’s Big Draw Day on 20 October. This will provide an ideal show case for the square during which free art activities will be provided.
I wish the organisers every success and hope that the weather is kind!
