Local MP and Liberal Democrat Shadow Defence Secretary, Nick Harvey MP, has launched a new website called ‘Forces Focus’ concentrating on the state of our armed forces.

Commenting on the site, Nick said:

“Looking after our armed forces must be a priority. At a time when so much is asked of our service personnel in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as operations around the world, it is vital that the Government’s ‘duty of care’ is fulfilled.

It is for this reason that my colleagues and I in the Liberal Democrat Defence Team have created this forum. We want to keep defence at the top of the agenda, spark debate and offer the chance to hear your views on a whole range of issues including welfare, disarmament and procurement.”
