Mike Hall MP
Castle Private Club

On Saturday 29th September Mike Hall MP held a coffee morning at the Castle Private Club in David Street, Castle. Mike was able to chat informally with all the constituents who came along and several issues were raised.
Mike Hall said:-
“I was very pleased that so many constituents came along to the coffee morning. It was a great opportunity to chat informally with constituents.
“Concern was expressed about traffic issues including speeding and parking across the whole of Castle. Specific areas of concern were at the rear of the Post Office, Darwin Street School, Navigation Road and Beeston Street. Street lighting and pavements in Beeston Street was also raised.
“A specific point about the Police Forum was raised and issues in respect of anti social behaviour.
“The Riversdale Footbridge, the planning application to turn Hobson’s Nursery into a residential development and bike riding on footpaths were brought to my attention. There were also concerns about the condition of the carriageway between Romanes Street to Huxley Street and the passageway between David Street and Pleasant Street.
“I will now be taking up these issues directly with the various authorities.”
