Martyn Jones MP Says “You Can Do It”

An award scheme of voucher offerings from a large £100,000 fund is being offered by the large retail company, B&Q.
 
B&Q are offering £5,000 grants for B&Q products from a total fund of £100,000, which are intended to play a key part in helping local communities to create inclusive and sustainable projects to be proud of. 

There will be twenty donations made and Mr. Jones would encourage groups within his local area to apply before the deadline of 18th March. 

Commenting no the new scheme, Mr. Jones said:

“We often forget that the private sector really does sometimes play an integral role within the community.  This sort of scheme should be embraced and encouraged – I do hope that those who are able to apply will show their support by doing so.”

B&Q have run similar awards for the past nine years and intend to continue to offer such support to the community.
