“Let’s Keep Clwyd South Warm” Says Martyn Jones MP
“Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES Wales) grants are proving very popular in Clwyd South” says MARTYN JONES MP for Clwyd South. “These grants have already helped 274 households become warmer and more energy efficient since April 2003 – and there are many more who can still apply.”
Martyn Jones MP was commenting on the latest annual figures provided by HEES manager, Eaga Partnerships Ltd., detailing the amount of grant funded heating and insulation work done in Clwyd South.
Since April 2003, £350,645.74 of HEES funding has been spent in Clwyd South helping local residents keep healthy, save energy, cut the cost of their fuel bills and keep their homes warm throughout the year.
Eaga Partnership has reported 120 households in Clwyd South have benefited from a brand new central heating system and a further 30 have received repairs to broken or condemned boilers. An additional 125 households will make savings from having had their home insulated.
