Constituency
Ilford North is part of the outer London Borough of Redbridge. It is located on the border of Greater London and Essex. Ilford North's it is home to large numbers of commuters, many of whom use the Central Line tube service to get to work.
The current constituency boundaries were established in 1995 by the Boundary Commission. Ilford North is composes of the local government ward of Aldborough, Barkingside, Bridge, Clayhall, Fairlop, Fullwell, Hainault, and Roding. Also included is a polling district from Wanstead ward and one from Snaresbrook ward.

The constituency includes many green open spaces as well as Hainault forest and yet is very easy to get into central London which is just over seven miles away.
