Statement by John Austin MP

The House of Commons has a procedure for dealing with complaints against Members.  The Commissioner has investigated a complaint concerning Mr Derek Conway and the Commissioner and the Committee on Standards and Privileges have published their findings.  I understand, however, that further issues may have been raised which are before the Commissioner and in those circumstances it would be inappropriate to comment.
