Coventry South MP Congratulates Manor Park on Newspaper Competition Win!
Students from Manor Park Primary School won first place in the Times newspaper competition. Manor Park along with over a thousand other schools across the UK competed to win a trip to London. The students won the competition by writing about healthy eating and exercise for those under the age of eleven.
Six students, along with two advisors were also given the opportunity to meet with their local MP, Jim Cunningham, who congratulated them this morning for the win, in the House of Commons. They were first given a tour of Parliament and then were given a chance to ask Mr. Cunningham questions about being an MP.
Afterwards the students were given an award for coming in first place in the competition.
