Pirbright Soldiers Visit the Houses of Parliament
30 Soldiers from the Army Training Regiment at Pirbright visited Humfrey Malins MP at the House of Commons on Tuesday 27th November. The soldiers are all recovering from injuries sustained during training and have been at Pirbright for different lengths of time, ranging from 1 week to 8 months. The recruits will go on to serve in fields such as Iraq. They had a tour of the House of Lords and House of Commons, led by Humfrey, who said `to meet a group of such brave young people, who really do their bit for the country, is an honour and it was a pleasure to show them around Parliament. I hope their recovery continues and they can get back to doing what they do best; defending Great Britain`.Latest Press Releases
