Humfrey Malins MP welcomed 11 young people, all of whom are members of the Woking Youth Council, at the House of Commons on Tuesday 23rd October. Accompanied by Youth Development Officer Sarah Henderson of Woking Borough Council, they all enjoyed a tour of House of Commons, House of Lords and Westminster Hall, spending time with Humfrey. Humfrey said `It was a great pleasure to show such interested young people around Parliament. It is fantastic to see children as young as 12 engaged with and participating in the political process and it is something I hope will continue well into the future`.
