Falkirk MP urges parents to use Child Trust Fund vouchers to give their children a good start in adulthood
Parents in Falkirk are being urged by local MP, Eric Joyce, to use their Child Trust Fund vouchers to ensure that their children have savings behind them when they reach 18.
Speaking today, during the first ever Child Trust Fund week, Falkirk MP, Eric Joyce, said
‘The parents of over 4,600 children in Falkirk have already received a £250 voucher to set up a savings account for their child.
The Child Trust Fund is proving to be a great way to help families save for their child’s future and I’m urging all parents in my constituency who have received but who have yet to use the voucher to open up a Trust Fund account for their child. The sooner the fund is opened, the better the start to adulthood they will be giving their child.’
