Davey's Card Competition: It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas
Edward Davey, Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston and Surbiton, has announced his sixth annual Christmas card competition.
The competition invites budding young artists from across the constituency to design Edward Davey's official Christmas card, which will be sent to over 1,000 people all over the country. The winner will also be invited to take tea on the Terrace of the House of Commons with the MP.
Edward Davey said,
"This year's theme is 'Christmas in Kingston and Surbiton.' It is quite a broad topic, so I encourage people to be as imaginative and creative as possible!
"To help schools plan before the start of term, I decided to write to them earlier this year. I have already written to every school in my constituency, urging them to take part. For the first time this year the competition is also open to Scouts and Guides.
"Every year, I love sifting through the many creative entries, and everyone on my Christmas mailing list tells me how much they enjoy the cards. I can't wait to see what Kingston and Surbiton's young artists have in store for me this year!"
