Edward Davey Helps Kingston to Breathe Easy
Edward Davey, Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston and Surbiton, celebrated the first anniversary of the Breathe Easy Support Group on Friday, 16th June, as part of the Breathe Easy Week.
Breath Easy, which is part of the British Lung Foundation, started in Kingston Hospital in 2005 as a way to provide support, guidance, and companionship to those affected by lung disease.
Edward Davey praised the group for the important services it provides.
“There are over 8 million people suffering from lung disease in the UK. Although it affects thousands, many aren’t aware of the difficulties of living with such a condition.
“Breath Easy plays a vital role in helping the victims of this disease and I am delighted that they are celebrating their first full year.
“They do an excellent job. They really are helping people in Kingston to breathe more easily.”
