On Friday December 17th Dr Doug Naysmith MP for Bristol North-West will join staff and children at Bank Leaze Primary School, Lawrence Weston, and give prizes to the winner and runners up in his annual Christmas card competition. 

Doug Naysmith said, “I usually ask a primary school in my constituency to organise a competition to design a card for me and this year Bank Leaze School agreed to help.   It was difficult to choose a winner as there were so many, attractive lively pictures but in the end I picked a lovely colourful card designed by Ethan Golding from Year 5.  I will also be presenting prizes to the runners-up – one from each of the other years.

“I am very grateful to Ms Gane, the head, and all the teachers because I know it makes extra work for them at such a busy time.  But I believe the children enjoy having a go, and I was delighted with my unique card.
