MP PRAISES LOCAL RESTAURANT FOR TIFFIN CUP AWARD

David Burrowes, MP for Enfield Southgate and curry aficionado greeted the news that local curry restaurant ‘Dipali’ has been placed in the ‘Highly Commended’ category in the Tiffin Cup. The prestigious annual Tiffin Cup award is given to the best and most popular curry restaurant in recognition of high quality Indian cuisine.

Highly commended Dipali Restaurant in Palmers Green was nominated for the award, the final of which will be held in the Houses of Parliament on 17th July. David will attend the event held in aid of A Chance to Shine; a charity that helps bring cricket to state schools.

On hearing about Dipali’s success, David said: “I am delighted that Dipali has been recognised as highly commended in this year’s award. I and my family love curry and I am doubly pleased that this year’s Tiffin Cup is supporting another of my favourite pastimes – cricket!”
