Christmas Message

"Oh yes you do, oh no you don't!" we shouted but not this time with MPs at Prime Ministers questions but with my children at the Scouts excellent panto at the Intimate theatre! Christmas is a time of fun with family and friends, although the Nightingale Community Hospice Trust's "Lights of Love" service last week reminded me of another side. Christmas can be a difficult time for those who have lost loved ones. Itcan also be tough on those who can't afford the high material expectations of Christmas. However, that said, the service also highlighted the true meaning of Christmas, celebrating the birth ofJesus Christ -the light of the World. My family and I wish you a very Happy Christmas.
