Kennedy Announces Shadow Ministerial Responsibilities

Charles Kennedy, Leader of the Liberal Democrats, today announced the appointment of his new Liberal Democrat Shadow Ministers which follows his recent announcement of the new line up in the Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet.

Charles Kennedy said:

“Following the successful reshuffle of the Liberal Democrat Shadow Cabinet, I am delighted to announce the new Liberal Democrat Shadow Ministerial responsibilities.

“With the Tories showing no signs of sorting out their internal struggles or even appointing a new leader, attention will increasingly be focused on the Liberal Democrats to act as the real alternative to the Government. Our new team of Shadow Ministers are in an extremely strong position to put the arguments of the Liberal Democrats at the top of the agenda as we begin the new parliament.”
