Sport Relief MP runs a nine minute mile
Bob Marshall-Andrews along with a good number of fellow MPs and Peers took part in Sport Relief's curtain opener Westminster Mile last Wednesday 16 June.
Mr Marshall-Andrews said, "The Westminster mile was a very special event as will all the mile runs that will be held on Sport Relief Saturday, July 10th. I encourage all those who can to partake in local runs and in doing so raise money for projects that use sport as a means of bring people and communities together here in the UK and in some of the poorest countries in the world.
"In Medway the Rainham Mile will be run a circular one mile route around the internal boundaries of Cozenton Park. The day's fun starts at 11am."
