Local pupils to design MP's 2003 Christmas card

Bob Marshall-Andrews today launched his 2003 Xmas Card competition for local school children. Pupils from Bligh Infant (Strood), Bligh Junior (Strood), Cliffe Woods Primary, Elaine Primary (Strood), Gordon Junior (Strood), High Halstow Primary, Hoo St Werburgh Primary, St John's CE School (Chatham), St Margaret's CE Primary (Rochester), St Mary's Primary (Strood), St William of Perth RCP (Rochester), Temple Mill Primary (Strood) and Warren Wood Community Primary (Rochester) schools are competing to design the Christmas card for Labour Medway MP Bob Marshall-Andrews QC.

Bob Marshall-Andrews said, "The 2003 Xmas Card competition is a great opportunity for one of our young artists to see their design in print. With Christmas getting nearer, I decided I wanted a memorable card, and I know from previous years our local children will be able to come up with brilliant designs. And again the only difficulty for my office will be picking out a winner! We will no doubt have a number of runners up."

The lucky winner will have their design made into the MP's Christmas card, which will be sent to hundreds of local people.

The winner and runners up will receive House of Commons Teddy Bears or a similar House of Commons gift.
