Local Pupils to Design MP’s 2005 Christmas Card
Bob Marshall-Andrews today launched his 2005 Xmas Card competition for local school children. Pupils from Cliffe Woods Primary, Elaine Primary (Strood), High Halstow Primary, Hoo St Werburgh Primary, St James’ CEP School (Cliffe), St John's CE School (Chatham), St William of Perth RCP (Rochester) and The Pilgrim School (Borstal) schools are competing to design the Christmas card for Labour Medway MP, Bob Marshall-Andrews QC.
Bob Marshall-Andrews said, “For the fifth year running, I have decided to hold a competition to design the cover of the Christmas Card that my wife and I will use. I am inviting local primary school children to take part. The Xmas Card competition is a great opportunity for one of our young artists to see their design in print and I know from previous years they will be able to come up with brilliant designs. The only difficulty will be picking out an overall winner. No doubt there will be a number of runners up.”
The winner will have their design made into the MP’s Christmas card. The winner and runners up will receive a House of Commons gift.
