Amicus Regional Officer, Peter Coulson says,
"Amicus is pleased to announce that the strike action at Birmingham International Airport over the Christmas period has been cancelled. Amicus and Birmingham International Airport have agreed that the dispute will be referred to a process of independent binding arbitration. Following discussions last week the union feels more optimistic that their member's cases have been strengthened and the union is prepared to take this case to third party arbitration which will avert strike action and will not compromise our members rights."
