Unite proudly supports Brighton Pride
Unite is proud to sponsor the Brighton Pride event for the fourth year taking place on Saturday, 4th August.
Unite the union has a long history and is committed to promoting LGBT rights within the workplace and beyond.
As well as helping to fund this successful annual event, Unite members and officials from all over the south east will be taking part in the parade. The UK's largest private sector union will also have a stall in Preston Park where the parade ends.
Unite Regional Official, Debbie Watson, said:
"This will be the fourth year that we have supported Pride, and are very pleased to be participating in the event. We are also sponsoring the Access tent where we will have a stall.
“We hope that our contribution will assist Pride in attaining its aims, and will help promote the need for everyone to be treated fairly and equally in all aspects of their life whatever your sexuality, age, colour or religion.
“We encourage all the family to come out and have a great day and join us at Pride. If you want to march behind our banner in the parade, then join us at the start at 11am.”
The parade begins on Madeira Drive at 11.30 am and will march to Preston Park.
