afPE Publications & Resources
The Association for Physical Education produces two major journals:
“Physical Education Matters”, a quarterly journal edited by Liz Taplin, assisted by Professor Sheila Wigmore. It aims to meet the needs of the membership and the wider physical education community.
“Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy”, edited by Professor David Kirk and published by Taylor and Francis. This is an academic, peer-reviewed journal which is currently issued three times a year but is shortly to become quarterly.
