Gadaffi book's Commons appearance
By Tony Grew - 28th February 2011
It is nothing if not topical.
Tory MP Daniel Kawczynski's biography of Libyan leader (for the moment) Colonel Gaddafi, published earlier this month by Biteback, won praise for its insight as well as its timing.
It seems Mr Speaker is keen to read it.
In the Commons today, just before the prime minister's statement on Libya, Kawczynski handed a copy to the Speaker's assistant.
He promptly stowed it away behind the Speaker's chair, no doubt for Bercow to peruse later.
If he is lucky, he may have been given a signed copy.
